Who we are
CGK Realties Inc. owns and manages residential apartment buildings in Greater Montréal. Our office is at 3065 boulevard Lévesque Ouest, Laval, Québec H7V 4B1. For anything to do with your personal information you can reach us at info@cgkrealties.com or (514) 399-9957.
Québec law requires us to name a person responsible for the protection of personal information. That person is [name and job title to be confirmed], and they can be reached at the address above.
What we collect
When you use a form on this website, we ask for:
- your name;
- your telephone number and email address;
- the municipality and apartment size you are interested in;
- your budget and the date you hope to move, if you tell us; and
- anything else you choose to write in the message field.
If you go on to apply for an apartment, we also ask for the information needed to assess the application, which includes a credit check and proof of employment. We will tell you at that point exactly what is required and who will see it.
We do not ask for, and would rather you did not send us, information about your health, your religion, your political views, or anything else of that kind. It is not relevant to renting you an apartment.
Why we collect it
- To answer you. If you ask about an apartment, we need a way to reply.
- To arrange viewings. We pass your name and the appointment time to the concierge at the building you are visiting.
- To assess an application and, if it is accepted, to prepare a lease.
- To manage the tenancy if you become a tenant, including repairs, notices and rent.
- To tell you when something suitable comes free, if you have asked us to.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it to advertise to you unless you have asked us to keep you posted.
Who else sees it
Your information is shared only where it is needed to do the things above:
- the concierge at the building you are visiting, so they can meet you;
- a credit reporting agency, if you apply and consent to a credit check;
- service providers that run our email, our customer records and this website, who may process information on our behalf; and
- anyone we are legally required to tell, for example under a court order.
Some of the services we use may store information outside Québec. Where that is the case we take reasonable steps to satisfy ourselves that it is properly protected. [The specific providers and where they store data still need listing.]
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that go nowhere: [retention period to be confirmed].
- Waiting-list requests: until you ask to be removed, or [period] after we last heard from you.
- Unsuccessful applications: [period], then destroyed.
- Tenancy records: for the length of the tenancy and as long afterwards as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- see the personal information we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong or out of date;
- delete it, where we are not required to keep it;
- withdraw your consent to us using it, which may mean we can no longer help you find an apartment; and
- receive a copy in a structured, commonly used technical format.
Write to info@cgkrealties.com and we will respond within the time the law allows. If you are not satisfied with our answer you may complain to the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
Cookies and this website

Because the company advertises on Facebook and Instagram, this is likely to apply and should not be left blank.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, and we limit access to the people who need it to do their job. No system is perfect; if a breach occurs that presents a risk of serious harm, we will notify you and the Commission d'accès à l'information as the law requires.
Children
This website is meant for adults looking for somewhere to live. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Where a change is significant we will say so plainly rather than quietly amend the text.
